They are putting in the "stuffing". It is called insulation. It helps so we don't here a lot of noise between rooms. It also helps to keep the cold air out in winter time. This picture is taken from our kitchen and looking into our bedroom.

Last night Grandpa and I went out to the house and swept up all the floors. When they put things in the walls it makes a mess on the floor from the wood shavings. We are also marking all the wood beams so when the sheet-rockers come they will know where to put the nails. We do this by putting a mark on the floor. We want the nails to hit the wood not the empty spaces.

They are putting up the siding. We had wanted all brick but had to settle for siding. We will have brick in the front of the house though. Things are moving on!!

We had the fireplace lowered so we don't have such a big step up. I want to keep things lower because we are putting a tv above the fireplace.

Things have been moving slow because we were waiting on a rough inspection. The electric has taken a long time too. This is my cam lights over the kitchen counters. They will be great! Larry has been doing a lot of extra wiring for low voltage items, such as security and music and so on. He has put a lot o time into the house.

This is the garage lights and garage openers. Larry put extra lights in front of the garage too. We wanted 4 instead of 2. Larry has a neat system of organizing the cords, One loop on the cord goes to the light, 2 loops go to the openers and so on. He is so organized.

This is a plug....we have lots of them! We are buying lights for the house.

The following are some of my Granite choices. I didn't get a picture of one that I liked it had light green swirled through white. This one is beige with maroon flecks.

This one has maroon specks and blue flecks with a dark back gorund

This one is beige, but boring....

Our Elders are being transferred out of the area. We have had two sets and this set is leaving. They were our bike Elders so we had chances to help them out a lot, with rides and with feeding them. We will miss them. Elder Robinson and Elder Gesleson
Our trip to Arizona for the wedding of Darin and Lisa. We arrived on a Tuesday. Heather and Jerrel and Nathan also came on Tuesday. Travis and Loralee arrived by car that afternoon too. We all changed and met at the temple. Darin was going for the first time. Martin and family arrived Wednesday night and Brittany and Aaron on Thursday afternoon. So for the family dinner, everyone was there.
A quick meal after arriving at the hotel. I love having my family together.

A finger painting activity for the grand kids. I had a fridge full of art work!

Playing the wii and taking turns.

This is our conservative shirt collection! Heather and Jerrel bought them all for different occasions. Jerrel, Dad, Nate
We had fun on Wednesday swimming with Travis and Heather's families. We had fun being together. We needed some rings so the kids could play on their own. I did get some and they came in handy for our other swim times. It was fun to cool off.

Travis' family was in Arizona the same day as we were. I had brought some things for the kids to do in the Hotel. It was fun to play with them. Nathan brought his wii and that was a hit with the big and the little kids!

Grandpa holding his sweet grand kids. It was fun to see them all.
We set up the two churches for the reception and the dinner on Thursday. Glen and Kim found us and came by for a visit. We ended up going to lunch for a longer visit. It was a nice break for Larry and I.
We had a fun afternoon swimming with Martin's family. They loved the fish rings that i got for all the kids to play with. This was Thursday afternoon. I miss being able to see the grand kids, so this was fun. This picture is Calli and Penny.

This is Brandon and Chase. They loved jumping into the water with the rings.

Cayden in the middle of the pool just relaxing, but only for a moment.

Callie and her Daddy. Grandpa went in the water too but I didn't get a picture.
This was the family dinner, before the wedding. It was a fun gathering and we were able to have Glen and Kim Thomas with us. It was great that they would come and support us. It meant a lot to us. Lisa had several aunts and uncles there too.

Travis' family enjoying the dinner. They came dressed up but changed after family pictures.

Martin's family. They looked so cute in there Sunday outfits. It was fun to have everyone there.

The rest of the gang! They loved being together and reminiscing about Bear(Darin) stories. later they did the "Bear" dance, in his honor.

The food table was beautiful. The food was great too. This was done by Lisa's aunt who is a caterer. It was a nice evening. Everyone said a few words and told how they were related to Darin or Lisa and something about them.
I had all my grand kids in the pool, oops one baby was sleeping in the hotel. We had fun swimming together. The kids like playing with each other. I loved doing motor boat, motor boat with them. We played catch and made big waves in the pool. We were the only ones crazy enough to be out there! It was so hot in Arizona the water was like bath water. It was fun being together.

Travis' family playing with Uncle Nate, which is a favorite thing to do. Nathan's bed was the roll out couch mattress, in the middle of the room. Check out the black out shade in the back ground. It kept the heat out too.
