We had a great few days with Amber Isaksen and her four kids coming for a visit. We loved it. It was fun to see them, they are great kids. This picture is of our boat ride in the Elder's (our friends) boat. We wanted to take the kids for a ride to the "Darn" as they called it. (Damn)
However on our way we were stopped by some fishermen who needed some help. so on the kids' first fast boat ride we were rescuing some people and going 2 miles an hour.
Mostly the kids were out side on the kayaks and the canoe. They stayed out almost all day except for "feedings". They would come in for lunch and then out they would go again. Some days they would have some down time watching TV, but now much! I made them cookies for an afternoon snack! I think i made them for them.......yum
We all had fun munching them down. Brittany and I enjoyed the dough.
Brittany was tired. We tried to help out. Baby Dawson is so good. I stayed up late a few nights to help out. The kids were happy to hold the baby once they were inside and showered.
We had some fun breakfast together. Today was Waffles. The kids loved them. We made up extra for Britts to take home too.
This is a Kodak moment...Larry putting on sunscreen. There is hope for him, he is learning that it isn't pretty to see him cheery red on Sundays. He went on an adventure in the kayaks and the canoe. He loves it as much as the kids do. Come again Isaksen family, we loved it!
