The brick work is done. It looks nice. They still need to make a brick step in the front. Now the roofers can finish up the little patches that needed to be done after the brick. We are deciding on a color for the rest of the sides of the house.
That little machine did a lot of work today. He leveled and smoothed out the back yard and cut the driveway out too. They packed the dirt nice and firm. We are getting ready to pour cement on the driveway.


The wood floors finally arrived today. We waited all day. They will start laying the floors tomorrow. It will look nice. The wood is going in all the rooms but the bedrooms.

That is where they dumped the wood flooring. Larry had to haul it into the house. He is very tired tonight!

They are shoving the dirt back up close to the house. They are also making the land level and then it will drop off slopping down to the water.

This is one lonely fireplace. It will look better as we put the mantel up and some cupboards and shelving around it.

They started the brick work today. It will go up fast, there are about 10 men working on it.

The brick has arrived. They will start next week on bricking the front of the house.

Now at the end of the day it looks more like a driveway!!! Tomorrow they do the back yard and get the dirt back around the house. Larry is ready with grass seed and watering timers to get things going.

Now you are seeing Larry's favorite room, HIS Garage! It is a thing of beauty. A 3 car garage, that we hope to get a least one car into it. Ha Ha He says two cars but we all know better.
