This is the big pumper truck. We are waiting for the cement trucks to get here.

This is the truck that the forms fit on. They are very heavy pieces of metal. When the cement dries they will take them down and put more on the truck and be done.

The Haymores have arrived. They came to see where their Daddy works, He is our builder. He is very good at what he does. He is very careful and always does a good job. It is fun to have him in our home somethimes.
The white cement trucks put the cement into the yellow truck and the yellow truck pumps up and over to where it needs to go. Notice the buffet in the picture. Actually the worker work long hours and have their dinner out there.

Check out the brave man on top of the yellow truck. His job is to direct the cement hose into the places it needs to go. He does it by remote control.
The big truck can reach a long ways. They are making the basement walls

The Haymore boys are having fun on the mountain of dirt. This dirt won't be here when the grandkids come. They have to use the dirt to fill in around the house. Sorry about that.

Grandpa is watching over the "pour". It was fun to watch them. Brinton Haymore and his oldest son coming back from checking on the other tucks

The cement walls are going up in the basement. It needs to be made strong so that the rooms that are built above it are secure. As the days go on they will pour more cement walls and we will have a cement floor soon.

It is hard to see it but they have put the re-bar in. It looks like a metal fence. They should be doing some cement work soon.

This is the footings for the foundation of the house. Grandpa is standing in the garage and I am standing in the basement.

The first two pictures are where the garage will be. We are making an outline of the edge of the house. They will be pouring cement soon. This is called the footings. Grandpa has been to to the house almost everyday now that they are doing things. It is fun to see the changes. Grandma doesn't go out as much because of her hay fever! I sneeze to much. Ha Ha

They are putting the footings in. They are getting ready for the foundation walls that will be made out of cement.

Well let's face it you can't build a house with out this....I feel better about coming out to visit the site myself!

We have water! Our well is 240 feet deep, 100 gallons a minute. That should be enough, don't you think. It's hard to believe that there is that much water in the earth!
This pile of dirt is from the basement. They will eventually spread it down in the back yard to make it more even. It would be fun to play in! Would you settle for a sand box oh the back deck?

This is our lovely new basement. It is fun to think that we have started on the house.

This is our basement! the cut out section above it is the 3 car garage

Our permit, this gives us permission to build on the land...5 months to wait for this piece of paper. Now here we go. There are more pictures at the end of the blog too.

This will be our driveway. Watch for more things to develop in the future, like a house. actually next will be the spectic, the digging of the basement and the footings. That is the foundation that we will build the house on.
Grandma and Grandpa's new house is starting to be built. Look at the big machines that it takes to level the land.

Our new "sacred grove", Nathan took these pictures
More views of the lake as they were taking down the trees

Enjoying the lake. Reagan could throw rocks in the lake forever.

One way or another I want to go in the water. Later we solved the problem with a bathing suit and a life vest!

A proud daddy on blessing day for Elise. It was nice to be able to be there for the blessing. We arrived Saturday night and the blessing was the next day. It was fun to have all nine grand kids together. We had most on them sitting with Grandpa and me at church. I love being with them.

A tender little moment with mom and baby
What a sweet little family. It was fun day to be together for the day. We left latter that day for Rexburg and our next big event.

We had fun taking Reagan to the park to feed the ducks. She loved it! It was fun to have Reagan and Heather travel with us to Rexburg. We had fun!

The Nethercotts and the Isaksens had a nice time being together. We had a nice luncheon after at the church and I didn't take any pictures. It was a fun few hours before we broke up and went our separate ways.
