The Garage!!!!! Yeah. They are butting up the big beams so that they can build a room on top of the garage. We are not finishing the room, we will use it for storage. I will be able to go up the stairs and get my own boxes of decorations and stuff! Not that I won't need help with Christmas decorations. Ha Ha

This picture is taken from Grandpa's truck. On the left coming towards the truck is a truck that has our deck on it.

The dock is in the water. We are keeping it at a friends house until we have access to a boat. When we have a boat we will float it down to our place and anchor it in. I will send pictures when that happens.
Our dock is the one in the back...the walkway is on top of the platform part.

This is the dock. The walk way is setting on top of the flat part. We bought a ladder too. That way we can jump in and swim around and climb out on the ladder. The flat part is where you would get in and out of a boat to go for a ride.

The garage is going up! 3 cars will be able to fit inside or in our case 1 car and stuff like tools.

just another view of the house.

This is the front of the house. The front entrance and the dining area witch I will use as an office.
The builders are doing a grate job and they are fast. The walls are outlined with a chack string and then they build a wall with it laying down. Then they put it up right into place. This is from the back yard.

The builders are started to close in the sides, so you won't be able to see through it much longer. To the left is the entrance way and shows you how high the ceilings in that area are.

Check out the view form the top floor. Men started on Tuesday and they are already to the top floor. This will be the kitchen view.

This will be ur bedroom on the right side.

This is looking from our bedroom to the bathroom and the closet at the end.

This is a view from the driveway.

This is the basement. Notice the dark doorway in the middle back. That is the cement area that will be our food storage. The basement is pretty well mapped out. They have the sub flooring on above and will start mapping the top floor tomorrow. It will soon look like something quit different.

Grandpa is standing in the room we want to have bunk beds in for the grand kids!

This is the side of the house. My bedroom will be on top soon.

Grandpa is walking on the top floor the basement is under him. The Garage is on the right hand side.
Look at what a day makes! It is fun to see the vision come to life. The basement is laid out and looks great. This is the fun part!

graeling the basement

Graveling the basement

Our first wall in the basement going up! Yeah

We took our missionaries out to the property to have a picnic. It was elder Robinson's birthday. I made them a cake, which we had them leave at their apartment. We did go for ice cream after our picnic to the bait and tackle store.

Check out the view even from the basement. It is pretty. It is hot and muggy though so I can't wait to look at the lake from an air conditioned room.

The trucks are arriving and people are getting ready to put the walls up. Here we go. Tuesday June 22! Grandma and Grandpa are excited to start this part of the house building.
This the site before they distribute the wood to build the walls. Just ignore the double pictue. Ooops

This little machine goes all over the place putting down the lumber where it is needed. It is like he divides it up.

This is a big pile of wood. This will soon be walls!

The first lumber is being laid out. They put it over the bolts that are sticking out of the cement wall. Then they will put up walls. This was Tuesday morning and we are going back out for a picnic tonight so we can see the progress.

This has been a slow week. Little things were done but the wait is on the framers. They were busy until this point. They come tomorrow!!! They said it should take 2 weeks to finish. Next post should show some changes. Here we go...
Grandpa dug a big hole for a post. This is at the front of the driveway.

Grandpa attracted a chain to the post and wrapped the other end around a tree. It has a pad lock on it. Hopefully this will discourage people who don't belong from driving onto the property.

These pictures got turned sideways but they are of my fridge. They have beautiful pictures made by Troy boy Isaksen. I love it when the grand kids send me things,

That black round thing is our lid to our Propane tank. There is 500 gall tank berried under the dirt. We will put some plants around it and decorate it so you can't see it. We will use the propane for heating and hot water.

These are the gauges for the tank when you lift the lid.
They have back filled the dirt up against the house. The flat cement pad you see middle left will be the front porch.

This is the garage and they pushed the dirt and filled it in there too.

We went to Louisville to help out with Reagan, while Heather went to girl's camp. Heather had such great experiences in her youth and makes a great camp leader. I am glad she could go. (better her then me) We got there on Monday and every thing was fine. We helped Heather load up her car with camp things. Tuesday I played with Reagan outside in her baby pool and then put her down for a nap. She woke up with a temperate of 103! She was miserable and unhappy. She did let me hold her a lot, that part was great! (normally she has places to go and people to see and toys to play with) She was so good for such a sick little girl. She loved it each night when her Daddy came home. Jerrel was home a lot in the mornings too. He was suppose to study, but held Reagan a lot. She was good for me when it was just her and I, but laid around and didn't eat anything. This picture is on the 4th day and she is happier and has had some food to eat!

This is what i saw for 5 days...Toy Story 1 and 2. They are cute movies but we saw them non stop because it made our sick little girl feel a little bit happier. Thank you Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Rex and others.

Can you see the roller in Reagan's hair? She loves to help me with my rollers.
We ended the visit on a happier note. Reagan is feeling better and running around!
We had fun coming home to the finished product! We are very pleased with how nice it looks. We missed out on the process but our builder took some to show us. So the next few pictures go back in time to see how it was done.

They cover the dirt and then put rocks down and fill in with cement. They have the machine in the middle to make it all smooth and even.

You see all three levels. The garage, the basement and the deck from the basement.
