We had a nice visit yesterday with Laura and her family. What sweet girls! We can't wait for them to come visit us in SC.

This is our sweet Kari. She was in town for a visit with Laura so we went to Atlanta to see her for a to short of a visit. We love our nieces and miss them.

More decorations. This picture has the doors on the bookshelves. They are painted and look great. It finishes off the shelving unit very nicely.

He did a nice job. We don't have the doors to it yet but they will get painted too when we get them. Now I have a great place for decorations!!! Notice the scroll work on the front of the fireplace, we added that.

Of course the bathroom had to be decorated!!!

Our Thanksgiving was fun. It started out with a big surprise that all the kids new about but Larry and I. When Heather and Jerrel arrived I ran out to greet them, trying to get Reagan to come to me. Heather was filming it and I thought nothing of it. I was looking at Heather and her lips didn't move but I heard Hi MOM. I turned and the "extra" company that they were bringing was Brittany and Aaron. Wow was I shocked. When Larry got home from Baltimore, he held out his hand to shake the company's hand and saw Brittany and Aaron and said,,,I know you!

We have a nice neighbor who lent us his boat for a ride around the lake. Reagan is an in charge type of girl. She loved her boat rides

We were playing with bubbles on the back deck. Reagan loved to be outside.

Aaron helping to put up a bird feeder. The kids were helpful and we got a lot done. They helped put together an outside table and they carried food storage to the basement.

We were all chilling on the back deck. Reagan was checking out the rockers. Teddy had to have a rocker too. Teddy does everything with Reagan. He eats with her and sleeps with her, goes on car rides and so on. We loved our Thanksgiving week. As always we miss the other kids and their families but enjoyed what we had.

Leann Mitchel came this weekend to babysit while Larry is away at work in Baltimore. We did some projects together and it was fun. This is the white and pink dresser that we repainted and freshened up.


We also tackled some new grand children rockers. It took 2 coats to cover them.

We really got into our work!!! We laughed a lot too!

She scraped off our windows too and they look great. Inbetween work we would watch a movie or go into town for shopping. It was a fun weekend.

I know this is blurry but this is our water bed that was ruined! We had to go buy a king size mattress! We saved the water bed blatter to fill with air and pop the grand kids up into the air and into the lake!!! Fun in the Sun

In the mist of the confusion, we set up our room so we had somewhere to go that looked nice. We had to hang drapes because it's like living in a fish bowl.

The garage, is it for cars?????? It is our storage area right now.

We got a new fridge!!!! It wouldn't go through the front door with out taking the hinges off! It hasn't worked so we are dragging it out of the house and getting a new one. Larry had to take the handles off of the fridge too.
